July 31 - Sunday
What a great day. Brunch at Ziziki's. Greatness in and of itself. But then Cirque du Soleil after. Greatness on top of greatness. Then to end the day with Paciugo. What a day. Great company on top of it all.
July 30 - Saturday
Bought a Furminator today and brushed my pack. The pile on the right is from my 3 original dogs. The West Highland Terrier on the left is from brushing Tony's back and one side.

I think this is the second time I've taken a photo of this, but it's really cool to see one of these up close.
July 28 - Thursday
It was a girls b-day at work and one of the other girls made her this cake from scratch. Very, very impressive. And delicious too.

2 hr work day, friend had her baby, La Duni for lunch with coworkers, Horrible Bosses with said coworkers, scaring myself silly on a friends roof, Dinner at the above, Pacuigo for dessert, walking 3 big dogs with one hand, time for bed. What a great day.
July 25 - Monday
Here's my house guest just lounging in the front room. This is the best dog I've ever met. The only thing that this dog could do to be more welcomed is to vacuum after himself.
July 24 - Sunday
So I decided I couldn't leave Tony out in the country in this Texas heat. Any one want a beautiful, calm, laid back Great Pyrenees. He's better behaved than my dogs.
July 23 - Saturday
Bought some fresh cherries yesterday to snack on. These are almost the size of golf balls. As good as they are it's hard to believe they're good for you.
July 22 - Friday
Went home and made some red sauce from scratch. Mmmm. Gonna make some good Baked Ziti and meat sauce. Maybe I was a fat, Italian chef in a previous life like Riley says.
July 21 - Thursday
My first Fudge Bomb of the summer. The best ice cream you can get for 50¢.
July 20 - Wednesday
Walked out onto the parking garage roof when I got off work. This was so bright. Or maybe it was just so hot. Either way this looked cool enough for me to stop and take a picture of it.

Had Chinese for dinner tonight with Riley. "Be prepared. Be prepared for what? The death of the king. Why is he sick?" If you know what that's from you're a cool person in my book.

Only a few jaw breakers left after our trip.

This isn't a great picture, but the party was. Had a great time at the Havana Social Club celebrating a friend's birthday.

One the guys here at work brought stuff for s'mores. We couldn't have an open flame here, but we made due. Great sugar rush. I work with some really cool people.

So a very dear friend took care of my cat while we were gone and made her into an outdoor cat. I brought her home and she was gone a day and a half, but guess who turned up. She spends the days inside and the nights out.

Today my baby turned 15. We went out to dinner at her favorite place, Buca di Beppo. She got a candle and this giant dessert. Happy Birthday, Sweetheart.

Stopped on the way home from work to get some stuff to bathe the dogs. Damn the candy counter next to the register. Though I haven't had one of these in forever.

My dogs went to Summer Camp out in the country while I was away. This was one of their companions. Along with a donkey, some peacocks and some chickens.

Back in the great state of Texas. Feels good to be back home. Took a nap on my couch when I got home and slept until 10am the next morning.
