I was going to buy a bike to start getting some exercise. My brother-in-law gave me one they don't use anymore. Now let's see if my arthritis will cooperate.

This is my pregnant friend. She's nice enough to let me take silly pictures of her from time to time. She's getting bigger and cuter everyday.
April 28 - Thursday
This is from the roof of my parking garage too. The sun was setting and really bright when I got off the elevator. I still like parking on the roof. Talk to me in July and see if I still feel the same.

I don't know what these are. They're on the roof of the building where I work. Well the part of the roof I can see from my parking garage. I liked the shapes.

You know I was going to post this as the photo of the day. This is the pit at the Salt Lick south of Austin. Great bbq.

Went to a bit of a family reunion/Easter get together with some of my cousins. This was one of their sons after he got smashed with a confetti egg. Had a blast with all my cousins and their families.

Was on the go most of the day today, but in the middle of it I got to see my niece's volleyball tournament. She's pretty awesome.

I would so do this for a day. Who knows it might really be work, but I think it would be exciting at least for a little while.

Made some homemade marinara sauce from scratch. Turned out pretty good. The house smelled great.

I found this in the backyard when I moved here a few years ago. Somehow it's made it's way to my office desk. Maybe the toys DO come alive when no one's looking.

This is a great gift for anyone who likes cigars.* This was for a friend of mine who happens to be the father of my God Daughters.
*That was a hint. City Cigars on the west service road of 75 between Knox and Fitzhugh.

Went to the Main Street Arts Festival with Riley and Rane. Apparently there was too much powdered sugar on the funnel cake.
April 16 - Saturday
Riley had some friends over last night for a Movie party. A few girls spent the night. I got them donuts in the morning. Rane wanted sprinkles because her little sister usually gets them all.

A while back my mom gave me this. It's a Ming Arelia. I almost killed it, but it's making a come back.

My blackberry bush is blooming. I hope I get some fruit from it this year. This is a little blurry, my shoulders are bothering me lately.

Met a old friend and his new wife for dinner and drinks. The problem with the metroplex being so big is its hard to see some people as often as you'd like.

Made Smoke Turkey pot pies for the second time. This is before I put the crust on. I am getting good at this.

Agency "Mistake at the Plate" outing to the Rangers opening day. What a great day. This was near the end of the day before we left the park to go drink some more somewhere else.
