January 31 - Monday
Finally started on a really big project at work. This is going to be a long week. Even more so than I knew at the time. Worked late on Monday, as you can see.
January 30 - Sunday
She's so sweet and lovable. And needs a home with someone equally sweet and lovable. That would not be me.
January 29 - Saturday
This has to be the nicest thing anyone has said to me in a while. It's from a friend who lives kind of far away now. If you see this you made my day and I miss you too.
January 28 - Friday
A really good friend gave me this and wanted to know why it wasn't at my new desk at work. Because its on my fridge.
January 27 - Thursday
The sunset from the roof of my parking garage. There have been some great ones lately. However, lately I've been getting out and it's already dark.
January 26 - Wednesday
Resorting to photographing stuff on my desk. Riley "snuck" this into our shopping cart when she was two and gave it to me for Christmas. I saw her do it, but didn't know she was going to give it to me.
January 25 - Tuesday
This is my new 27" monitor that was delivered along with a newer computer today. I got to keep my other monitor too. I am so spoiled. Two monitors, a drawing tablet and a loaded, fast computer. Working at home now is such a disappointment.
January 24 - Monday
This is the building near the office that is being renovated. I have been waiting to catch the light on this one. It's part of the First Baptist Church downtown I think. They have a great cafe there.

Riley had her audition for Booker T today. After, Riley, Rane and I went to eat Riley's favorite pancakes. She won't find out until the end of March. Keep your fingers crossed for her.
January 21 - Friday
So over the holidays an order was placed for everyone at my new job. We were all given a drinking glass, a mug and a shot glass with our name on it. Oddly enough I didn't find mine because I was looking for Bo.

Driving out of downtown by Booker T. It appears I am going the right direction.

Came back from a happy hour and found this girl on the front porch. She was lying in the middle of the street a few minutes later. This is going to test the limits of my human kindness.
January 17 - Monday
Riley and I went to Ikea and you know what? There's a Yucatan Taco Stand near there. That's what. If you've looked at my other photos you know what the before looks like.

This is not a good photo of what I saw. Woodall Rogers was lined with Semis with 4' square beams to support the park they are building over the highway. Some amazing construction going on there.

I made a big pot of Minestrone soup. The house smelled very Italian. Wish I had some Olive Garden breadsticks.

The Kroger by my house can finally sell beer and wine. Woo Hoo. Now I can get my drink on and save gas. I like Shiraz. This one was very mellow.

My fridge after 6 months of being unemployed. Hahaha. Just kidding. I cleaned my fridge tonight.

You can barely see the snow flakes in the dark parts of the trees. Will we have a winter like last year? I hope so.

I got Riley the Crayola Crayon Maker for Christmas. She spent almost all day making crayons. Every year I get her some kind of toy to remind her she's not that grown up.

The sunset out one of the windows at work just before I left to go have a drink with some new friends.

The people here are really nice. This glass just moments ago was full of Jack. Great way to end the day, shots with new friends. I think I'm gonna like it here.

The sun setting on my third day of work from the rooftop of the garage I park in now. I've heard stories of "hobo poo" in the elevators to this garage. Ewww.

First day at my new job. This is a before shot of my new work space. It needs some help.

Home made Turkey Pot Pie made with the turkey my brother smoked. Was really good considering it was the first time I've ever tried making them.

Riley had a bunch of friends over for a New Year's party. I made my Chocolate Pillows for Rane. A great way to start the new year. Happy 2011 everyone.
